These gorgeous papier mâché pieces are all handmade and decorated in Kashmir by skilled individual artisans. Using traditional techniques to mold the shape, Artists then start the decoration of the baubles on the smoothened surface. The colours used are made from organic pigments. Once decorated, the products are then given a lacquer coating which protects them and gives extra durability. The finished piece reflects the keen attention to detail and sheer effort put in to produce such intricate work.
